Built in concrete, the fountain of the lions has an octagonal shape and has an iron cross in the center, which is adorned with flower motives.
Along its northeast corner, two lions are majestically seated; reason why the fountain received its name. Within its decorated shaft there is four medallions (one in each side) representing feminine figures.
The fountain has several levels. The first container, of circular shape, is made of iron and has a 5-meter height; it receives the water that overflows from the top container, which has a smaller circumference.
At the top of the water fountain there is a feminine figure wearing a laurel crown in her head, holding a jar with wheat stalk at her feet.
