Beer Museum

History

it was inaugurated on July 27, 2009 as a space dedicated to culture and tourism and is located on the banks of the Guayas River, in Las Peñas Neighborhood, right in the same place where the National Brewery Company used to operate since 1887, year in which the first beer manufactured in the city was sold and the company began its operations as a factory of beer and ice.

The Museum has an area of 70 square meters and has an exhibition displayed in three showcases of an investigation carried out by historian from Guayaquil Jenny Estrada, which narrates the history of beer in the world and the 100 years of history of the beverage in Guayaquil, which transformed the labor sphere, not only for changing the habit of consuming imported products but for creating jobs.
