Puna Island Pier

The Municipality of Guayaquil, opened in October 15, 2014 the first stage of the Puna island Pier, as a tribute by the 179 years of its parochialization.

The modern pier has an extension of 400 meters that includes from the municipal spring of concrete, bordering the waters of the Gulf of Guayaquil, until the square in the top of Puna, crossing the pedestrian bridge.

The Pier has retaining walls that prevent landslides, guardrails, sidewalks, curbs, pergolas and sanitary facility. In addition, the pier has with kiosks, for the sale of food
