The Victor Emilio Esrtrada better known as Urdesa Park, has its name in honor to the banker, entrepreneur and politician Victor Emilio Estrada Sciaccaluga (son of the ex-president Emilio Estrada Carmona), born in Guayaquil, May 22nd of 1891 and deceased on February 21st of 1954.
Estrada was a very important character in the Ecuadorian history, for being the administrator for the financial administration that brought the banking to the peak in his time.
The park is located in a zone that in the course of the years has become in one of the most commercial zones of the city, a wide touristic offer, delivering at the time restoration sites and leisure activities to the Guyaquileños.
