For 30 years, Mariana Molina, has been known for her ceviches and the other delicacies she prepares with seafood, which she serves in her restaurant Aqui esta Marcelo, located in Esmeraldas and 10 de Agosto streets.
She started her business with a single table located in Velez and Esmeraldas streets, where she served fresh oysters with lemon. The restaurant is a family business where her sons and her daughters and sons in law also work.
The two-story building has room for 150 people in the ground floor and the same amount in the upper floor. The signature dish is the ceviche but the menu also offers rice mixed with shrimp, concha or seafood, and several specialties like the Russian ceviche, which is a mixture of different seafood.
The place was one of the 30 huecas that were part of the Raices International Gastronomic Fair and has a branch located in Urdesa and soon there will be one in Samborondon and another in Salinas. Opens daily from 07h00 to 22h00.
