It is a traditional place in Guayaquil where people can taste the rice chicha called resbaladera, which can be accompanied by traditional sweets like quimbolitos, churros, alfajores, quesadillas and other snacks.
The owners are Rosita Amendano and Angel Barba, a native couple of the Sierra region who arrived to Guayaquil to rescue this drink prepared with products from the coast.
The preparation of the chicha begins by soaking the rice grains from which the flour is obtained. This product is cooked with spices such as cinnamon, clove, pepper and sugar.
The drink is served with ice and is very refreshing and nutritious. For quality, tradition and service, this place was selected to participate in the Raices International Gastronomic Fair.
La traditional was opened 16 years ago and is located on 6 de Marzo and Gomez Rendon streets. Opens Mondays to Saturdays from 09h00 until 19h00.
