In this restaurant people can eat bolon with shrimp bathed in a guacamole sauce; the homemade bolon, which is stuffed with melted cheese and pieces of pork. The Cristobal Bolon is the sugnatur dish of the house, which is served with steak sauce and a fried egg; another version is the bolon maduro (made with sweet plantain) with cheese and pieces of pork.
Besides this traditional bolones, the also serve tigrillo, which is a dish made of plantain and mixed with different ingredients.
Cristobal Bolon has three years of existence. The main branch is located in Tungurahua and Clemente Ballen streets, while there is an Express restaurant located in the Noguchi and El Oro streets. It opens from 07h30 to 13h00, Mondays to Sundays and on holidays. For its quality and taste the restaurant was one of the 30 small traditional restaurants chosen to participate in the Raices International Gastronomic Fair.
