It is located in the corner of Luque and Garcia Moreno streets, but for the people that know Marino Calderon for a long time, the small place located at the outskirts of the Olympic Pool in Hurtado Street, is where they go since they remember where the business started.
21 years ago, this entrepreneur started selling juices and fruit salads. Marino arrived to Guayaquil from his native place Jipijapa, with his family when he was 7 years old; since he was little he learnt to prepare fruit juices from his father and in time he managed to improve the original recipes.
The restaurant was part of the Raices International Gastronomic Fair and was awarded with the Bronze Culinary Star.
El Manabita opens Mondays to Saturdays from 08h00 to 18h00.
