Guayaquil can be visited any time of the year, as it is a city that has no extreme temperatures. It has two climatic seasons, rainy or winter (January to May) and dry or summer (June to December).
In winter the city has a warm and humid temperature during the day. In summer Guayaquil has a cool climate during the day and night.

Winter (January to May): The city enjoys a radiant sun with rainfall. Cool clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended. For sunny days, you can use a cap, hat and sunscreen. It is also suggested to bring an umbrella.
Summer (June to December): For the summer season, light clothing, typical of a tropical climate, can be used. At night the temperature drops so it is recommended to use a light sweater.
