Honor or Symbol Square

Also known as Honor Square, it was built in 2002 by the Municipality of Guayaquil and represent, within a civic context, the place where the city pays tribute to the Symbols of the Homeland, as different acts take place at the square to commemorate civic dates.

Its anchor design represents the martial path to lift and lower the flag. There is a cannon from past centuries that was used by the National Navy.
